Known as “The Beast”, Yohan Blake is one of the fastest humans in history — a two-time World Champion, multiple Olympic medallist, and joint second fastest man ever at 9.69 seconds. A proud product of St. Jago High School.
Hines
Korene Hines is a Jamaican middle-distance and steeplechase specialist who represented Jamaica at three World Championships and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, finishing 4th at the 2005 World Championships. PB: 9:30.12 in the steeplechase.

Penn Relays 4×100 Champion 1996 (41.14). World Athletics competitor and part of one of the most dominant relay squads in school history.
Boys Champs 1993 Gold. A key member of the early 1990s generation that put St. Jago on the map of Jamaican athletics.
Celebrated sprinter from the golden era of St. Jago athletics, contributing to the dominant relay teams of the late 1990s.
At the 1990 Boys Champs Powell blasted the 100m record in the semi-finals by running 10.47s and went on to win the finals. He also won the 200m finals beating his rival Daniel England, which was one of the most spectacular event in ISSA’s Champions history.
He won the class 2x800 & 1500m at the 1988 championship. Prior year he came second in the 1500m, however, in 1989 he went on and won the 1500m and a close second in the 800m.
